Easter Bunny...Take Two...

Ok, that's much better! EB had a little issue with the suit...quickly fixed, but we are all still laughing! We had our 4th Annual Easter egg hunt at our house this year, and it was so much fun! We had perfect weather...could not have been better. We decided to have an airhorn start this year, in order to keep the 200 or so kids on the same page. It seemed to work pretty well for most, but it scared Quinn to death...so much so that she cried through the whole egg hunt, and only got one egg! She recovered eventually, and had a ball for the rest of the day.

Quinn's Easter Party

We celebrated Easter with Quinn's class yesterday with a fun party! They had an egg hunt and a picnic, and we all enjoyed the beautiful weather. Our family has been getting over the stomach flu, and we are all finally feeling better....just in time for our Easter and our egg hunt this weekend!

Few Random Pictures

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would upload a few random pictures from around the house. As you can see, Tyndale is growing so fast! He really enjoyed visiting (and drooling on, apparently) his Aunt Lindy! Quinn tried on her fabulous swimsuit that Uncle Michael and Ms. Katy gave her for her birthday and she can't wait to go swimming in it! Last night was such a beautiful evening, that we cooked out with Big Daddy and Gimmie. You can see them dancing in the video...too fun! Quinn set the table herself, complete with flowers and placecards! I just remembered something funny that Q said to me the other day as we were riding in the car... I was asking her questions, and she said, "Mama, I am trying to do my sticker book and you are ear-in-tatin' me!" Where do they learn this stuff??

Happy Birthday Quinn!! (part 1 of 2)

Happy 4th Birthday Quinn!!

Quinn turned 4 on Friday and we had a super-fun party at the Skate Zone. She asked for a "pig theme," so you can see pigs all around! We skated, jumped, ate ice cream sundaes, and played with puppies from Brookhaven Animal Rescue League. Quinn asked her friends to bring pet supplies/donations for the Rescue League instead of presents, and they were able to donate a bunch of great things! We were so glad that Aunt Lindy was able to come into town to be at the party and spend the weekend with us! Quinn also had a special snack in school on Friday. She chose Dippin Dots as her snack, so I brought some for the class, and everyone LOVED them. They all finished the cups and then asked for more!

We have laughed so hard at this, I just HAD to learn how to upload a video so all of yall could see it! Turns out, it is really not that hard to do...so look for some more videos in the future. Yes, Parnells...you DO see something that belongs to you in this picture! I swear, I will get those bibs back to you one day soon....

Happy Mardi Gras!!

We had a very exciting time in New Orleans this weekend! It was Quinn and Tyndale's first Mardi Gras parade, and they loved it! We were able to enjoy the festivities with the Parnells, Adams, Otis', and many other friends. Quinn especially loved hanging out with Elise and playing with the crawfish! Uncle Michael put her on his shoulders and ran her right up to the floats, and she totally racked up! She got tons of beads, stuffed animals...even a plastic chicken! As we were driving away, I asked her what she thought of Mardi Gras, and she said, "it was FAN*TAS*TIC!"

Tyndale Baptism

Tyndale was baptized Sunday in a beautiful service. We were blessed to have many of our family present for the event! Brad thought the bonnet was a little feminine (sorry, Tyn), but it is a family Christening gown that has been passed down for many, many years (to the girls AND boys!). He looked very handsome to me!

Mmmm....real food!

...if you can count rice cereal as "real food!" Tyndale was so excited to join the ranks of all the good eaters in the Boerner family. He acted like he has been eating from the spoon forever! Stay tuned...avocados are next!

Bathtime

Just thought I would post a few fresh-from-the-bath clean-baby pics!

More Wedding

More Charleston Wedding pictures

Here are some more pictures from our Charleston weekend. The first two are from our morning at the Charleston Aquarium, where Quinn loved the touch tank the best. She REALLY wanted to take a hermit crab home with us! Then there are a few pictures from the Rehearsal and Rehearsal dinner, a delicious treat at Magnolias. The last picture is Tyndale with my darling grandparents. They have been married for 67 years, so they had many tried and true words of advice for Lindy and Eric.

Congratulations to Lindy and Eric!!

We had a great weekend in Charleston, SC, as Lindy and Eric got married! Quinn was a flower girl (or as she said, a "flower petal") and she looked beautiful! Lindy looked gorgeous, and the wedding was uniquely hers and Eric's and very Charleston-y. We all enjoyed the fast-paced...even hectic at times...events, and it was a whirlwind of activity. Here are some pictures from their extremely talented photographer, Evan Laettner ( I know...you were thinking that I took these, right?). I will upload mine soon.

It's the Macy's Day Parade! (2 months late)

There are two floats in our parade this year...haha! We always love it when babies do this when you lift them up! And Quinn just HAD to give it a try too!
