Resting after a long, fun day.
Quinn at Disney Hollywood Studios.

Family Picture

Tyndale's favorite Disney event? Playing and banging the pots and pans!

Wow! We saw all the princesses at Akershus in Epcot! Here we are with Snow White,

Belle,

Cinderella,

Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty,

and Ariel! They all visited with us and signed Quinn's picture.

The gang at Germany in Epcot.

Quinn and Lindy right before we rode Soarin', Quinn's favorite ride of the entire trip! We waited FOREVER to ride it, but it was worth it!

Post-Soarin' sushi at Yakitori. Quinn is making a hidden Mickey...do you see it?

Our super-cool pool area at the Bay Lake Towers. Quinn and the Simms rode the curly slide several times, with some time in the hot tub in between..it was chilly! Tyndale got in the Mickey-shaped fountains in the far left of the picture.

Even Blue Boy and Bun Bun had fun on the rides at Disney!

Quinn's School Thanksgiving Celebration

Quinn had a special Thanksgiving lunch with her class. They all dressed up like Indians, and Quinn's chosen Indian name was "Dancing Pony." They all made their shirts and they were darling!

Halloween

Yes, I realize that it is November 5th, but we have been having some computer difficulties...amazing how out-of-touch you can feel when you go a week without a computer! Here are our Halloween pictures...Quinn was the White Witch, Jadis, from the Narnia Chronicles and Tyndale was Aslan. Quinn saw this dress during an internet search for "witch costumes," and she said "That is it!!" She even has an icicle crown and a scepter that lights up blue...to freeze enemies of course! Off I went to Netflix and got the 70's cartoon movie of the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe (because the Disney one is still a bit violent for Quinn at this age) because I wanted her to know who these characters were, and she loved it! I think they will love it even more when we begin to read the book series and watch the movies together. Oh, and that blurry picture of Tyndale is just perfect...that is what he looks like a LOT of the time now...on the move!Brad and I were a geisha and a samurai...we had a ton of fun with these costumes, and went to a party at Josh and Sloane's after the trick or treating ended.

Tyndale's first birthday party

I took pictures from each month and mounted them for a gallery of his first year...so fun to see how quickly he has grown and how much he has changed.

A deer party for my baby deer....can you tell why I call him that? Those darling doe eyes...

On the menu...make your own burritos and chicken enchilada soup, and cake of course!

Tyndale was enjoying smashing his cake in his hands, but he didn't know that he could eat it too! So Quinn showed him the way...then he couldn't get enough!

He had just a little bit of help opening his presents...haha.

Fun weekend part 1

Tyndale simply could NOT wait to open this one!

Ummm, yes....this would be the life-size Annakin that now lives with us. A birthday present for T.

Fun Weekend part 2

We had such a great time visiting with the Simms and the Adams this weekend. So glad we could get together with all of them, since we haven't seen them in quite some time! Gray and Brad are always full of "good" ideas.... this weekend they built their own Green Egg out of two terracotta pots. It was funny to watch, but it actually worked great! Thanks to Kristy and Noel for allowing me to take over their camera...mine is slowly dying, and they were kind enough to let me use theirs to document the birthday party and more.
