Quinn and I had such a fabulous time visiting Meme and Gee for Spring Break! Here is Quinn on the plane:

and here are Meme and Quinn at the Surfrider for Quinn's birthday dinner.
after dinner we celebrated with a beautiful cake that Meme and Gee got at their neighborhood bakery, Chocolage.
Meme and Gee got Quinn a gift card to the mall, so she got to go on a shopping spree! She got puppy earrings and necklace, a puppy in a purse, and some diva puppies that she could paint...are you sensing a theme?
Mermaids are the symbol of Norfolk, and everytime we saw one, Quinn took a picture for the book that she is going to make. We hope to eventually photograph every one!
One day for lunch we went to Doumars, the original creator of the cone...for ice cream! Meme and Quinn are standing next to the original machine! They have outstanding food as well!
Meme filled out a cool calendar for Quinn so that she could document the things that she had done...hmmm....sounds like something I would do!
Gee and Quinn and I went to the playground at the mall...they have changed it into a Looney Tunes/pirate playground. Quinn's favorite was Pepe Le Peu, the skunk.
Here we are at the zoo...Quinn found a friendly turtle. Don't worry, Aunt Lindy, this one is not even related to the one that bit you at Grant's Farm so long ago! :)
Quinn and Meme stuck in the spiderweb!
Quinn enjoying a beautiful sunny day with a book and a Fresca (or should we still say "sleepy Fresca?")
St. Paddy's Day ferry ride to Andalo's Clubhouse, the children's museum.
Quinn's favorite part of Andalo's Clubhouse was the bank...she got to be a teller and she loved it!
They even had a special shamrock scavenger hunt set up. After we found all the clues we made some art with watercolor pencils...have you ever heard of these? They are so cool! Look at Quinn's beautiful St. Paddy's Day artwork! It is now in the private collection of Meme and Gee.
The dragon in the front of Andalo's Clubhouse.
Beach day! We got a super sunny and warm day, and spent it in the right place...VA Beach!
Here I am with King Neptune...isn't this sculpture amazing?
Quinn and I getting ready to see the Broadway production of The Wizard of Oz. We got in trouble for taking this picture! ha! We both liked the field of poppies the best...they were ballet dancers in red costumes...and as Glinda put her spell on them, they transformed into completely white outfits...it was amazing! It was all so fun..Quinn watched every second!

Looks like a great trip! Glad Q is getting an early appreciation for filling up the calendar! It's in her genes!
