Halloween

We celebrated Halloween several times this year. First our friends the Hennings threw a party complete with witch-broom scavenger hunts, pumpkin rolling contests, and a hayride and advance trick or treating for the kids. They got some families in our neighborhood to give candy to the kids...so fun! We even got in on the fun as you can see...

Then our church held it's annual Reformation Celebration. The kids had a blast!

Quinn and Lucy...isn't she a cute Shirley Temple? We even had dueling Darth Vaders!

The gym is set up like a giant carnival, and the youth and other volunteers work each game. The duck pond was Tyndale's favorite by far.

And now finally to the actual day of October 31st! Quinn said all along that she wanted to be a vampire, but after some fang and makeup issues, she decided to be a black cat. And Tyndale a firefighter...no surprise there!

Mr. Mark and Mr. Josh took this sweet looking bunch of girls trick-or-treating and they had a blast! Tyndale and I stayed behind so he could finish his dinner and then the two of us went around the block. The highlight of the night was being able to trick-or-treat at his teacher Mrs. Holly's house!

This was what our house looked like for the majority of the night. Crazy, huh?
