I am constantly searching for ideas of ways to teach Quinn and Tyndale thankfulness and gratitude for our many blessings. Especially during this time of year it seems they can fall prey to taking things for granted and the constant desire for more, more, more! I try to focus on being thankful for our blessings and being simple in our needs. The kids had such a fun time making a Thanksgiving tree this year. Each day they would write (or tell, in Tyndale's case) what they were thankful for...they reflected a lot and came up with some really creative ones! Like "Daddy's cooking" or "firefighters"...things that I didn't know would come to their mind. And of course they covered all of our family and friends. I think we might do this again!
